Where we ship
Everywhere in the European Union. We do not ship outside it. Olive oil is heavy and glass is fragile, and customs paperwork on one bottle costs more than the bottle.
Orders leave from whichever of our two stock points is closer to you — the grove at Zakros in Crete, or Frankfurt am Main stock address in Frankfurt am Main. You do not choose; the shop works it out from your delivery country.
What it costs
Shipping is priced by parcel weight, not by item count, because a 5 litre tin and a 250 ml bottle are genuinely different parcels. The exact cost is calculated at checkout once you choose a delivery country, and is shown before you confirm anything.

When we dispatch
We pack by hand, usually the next working day. You get an email with a tracking number the moment the parcel leaves us.
During the November harvest everything else stops for a few weeks and dispatch can take two or three days longer. We would rather tell you that than quietly miss an estimate.
Orders paid by bank transfer are dispatched once the money arrives, which is usually one to two working days after you send it.
If the parcel is damaged
Glass and couriers sometimes disagree. If your parcel arrives damaged or leaking:
- Photograph it before unpacking further, including the outer box.
- Email our contact form with the photographs and your order number.
- We replace or refund it. We do not ask you to send broken glass back.
Risk stays with us until the goods reach you, so a parcel damaged in transit is our problem to fix, not yours to argue about with the courier.
If it does not arrive
Tell us. We will chase the courier and, if it is genuinely lost, send a replacement or refund you. There is no arbitrary waiting period. Do allow a few days past the estimate first, because parcels often turn up.
If the courier records a delivery to an address you gave us incorrectly, we cannot replace it free of charge. Please check the address at checkout.
Packaging
Bottles travel in moulded pulp inserts inside a double-wall carton. The cartons and inserts are recyclable, and we do not use plastic void fill.
For deliveries within Germany we are registered under the German Packaging Act (VerpackG) with LUCID registration number LUCID packaging register number (VerpackG) and participate in a dual system.
